Maddy is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and young adults navigate life’s challenges while building confidence, resilience, and meaningful connections. She believes that each person has unique strengths and values that can serve as a foundation for growth and healing. Maddy is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Maddy has experience working with adolescents in residential treatment settings, where she provided individual support and facilitated therapeutic groups focused on coping skills, emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationships, and personal growth. She also has experience working in a school environment with younger children. She enjoys helping young people work through anxiety, depression, life transitions, school-related stress, identity development, and interpersonal challenges.
Therapeutic Approach: Maddy takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy. She works alongside clients to identify their goals, develop practical coping strategies, and build the skills needed to navigate difficult emotions and experiences. Her goal is to help clients increase self-awareness, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful changes that align with their values and goals. Maddy draws from evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Inference Based Treatment (ICBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and trauma-informed practices. She tailors therapy to each client’s unique needs, recognizing that healing and growth look different for everyone. Outside of the therapy office, Maddy enjoys spending time with her husband and family, baking, being outdoors, and traveling!
