Specialties: Children, Adolescents, Young Adults, Anxiety disorders, OCD, Misophonia, Depression and Depressive Disorders, Grief, Trauma, Life Transitions
Education: I earned my Master of Social Work degree in 2019. Since that time, I have experience in private practice, working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, OCD, misophonia, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. I also have extensive experience supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, providing affirming and individualized care.
My professional background also includes working with the Division of Child and Family Services on the permanency and clinical teams, where I supported youth and families through assessments, evaluations, and connecting them with needed resources.
Alongside my clinical work, I serve as a faculty member at Utah Valley University, where I help train and mentor the next generation of social workers.
Therapeutic Approach: I work from a strengths-based perspective, helping clients recognize and build on the abilities they already have navigate life’s ups and downs. As you connect with these strengths, you can feel more empowered and confident in creating meaningful change. Together, we’ll explore the thoughts and beliefs that may be holding you back from your goals, so you can move forward with greater clarity and resilience.
I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and response prevention (ERP), mindfulness, EMDR, and strengths-based practices—to find what best fits your unique needs. While therapy can sometimes feel challenging, my goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where we can work through those tough parts together and move toward healing, growth, and clarity.
About Me: I grew up in sunny Southern California and love being outdoors—hiking, paddleboarding, or exploring new places. In my downtime, you’ll usually find me cooking or baking something to share, spending time with my four grown kids, or hanging out with friends.
